The Scourge Project - Episode 1 and 2 Review

I didn't like it to tell you the truth. After the trailer and all I was curious about the game, about the story, but my curiosity fell on the floor in the first hour of playing. This game was designed for a public under 15 or something, or maybe the low budget was the reason. First, the graphics are not nice or cool, they are like the old quake 2 or something. The game play doesn't bring something new, just the option to play the story co-op, but that was smoked long ago. Secondly, the story and the cut-scenes are lame - 4 squad members want to bring down a scary corporation. A rival squad is taken out one by one. Creatures appear from nowhere. Some big bosses around the place, for you and your mates to kill. And some betrayal of the one who guides and helps with the mission through radio. The game leaves the story open for a third episode (The Scourge Project Episode 3) will pop up in the future - the followup should kill the betrayer and the queen of weird creatures. The enemy AI is retarded, and the movement is retarded also. Weapons are not close to cool, and the special abilities are not cool at all. For the producer's sake I hope he invest real money into a better version of this game. This game should be like a 2003 game, not 2010.

SCORES

Graphics - 7 (Nvidia 3D Vision - medium)

Gameplay - 6

Feeling - 6

Story - 5

Size - 1 dvd-dl - 5gb

TOTAL 6

Status: do not buy it, it doesn't worth the dvd printed with it, borrow it, play it if you must, and don't have anything boring to play. I must say, it's like 5 or 6 hours of lost time. This game should be redone or something. I think it was designed specially for multiplayer, otherwise I don't know any reason for playing it again.
