Just Cause 2 Review

Rico is back in heart pumping action just game. You have a 6 mission main story to complete, and plenty of side missions within each faction: Ular boys, Roaches and Reapers. The main mission is the destruction and killing of the president's son, Panay. You can unlock missions ,personal weapons and vehicles by bringing chaos to these islands. Chaos is made by doing missions or by destroying everything tied to government, buildings, army base/vehicles/ soldiers. The combat system is great. Even though is kind of a wild GTA for me, it is still better as a combat. You have the hook, which is faster and longer, and has two hook options: you hook up to an object, or you can hook/tie two objects together if you want to. Lots of guns, lots of vehicles: planes, helicopters, bikes, cars, trucks, boats, almost anything that is driven by man is there, army or civil. Incredible views with all type of weather and landscape environments, even an air-floating boat tied to two balloons that look like zeppelins. Base jumping, fly by, stunts and anything extreme is here. Lots of races, on land in air, on water, boats, planes, bikes, or other vehicles. Lots of collectibles, armor, weapon parts, and vehicle parts used for upgrades. Lots of areas, villages, posts, and interest points to be discovered. Fast travel through a special option named extraction or through commanding you own super spy vehicle, boat or plane, upgraded as you like. The limited edition of the game comes with a special and unique equipment: parachutes, parachute afterburners, multi-targeting rocket launcher (my favorite), prototype jet fighter (tough to handle), and a really cool American monster truck with a gun battery an rocket launcher on it. I reached 22% when i finished the main story, and then you enter in mercenary mode as your goal is to reach 100% completion.

SCORES

Graphics - 9 (Nvidia 3D Vision - good)

Gameplay - 9

Feeling - 9

Story - 7

Size - 1 dvd - 4gb

TOTAL 8.5

Status: buy it, play it, have insane fun with it, complete it 100% if you want to. It was quick this one, very short main mission, it looked like a hit and run for me, because with no main story it's just pointless fun. Even so, add it to the Just Cause collection because this one has a future to look for. If Just Cause 3 has a better story, a longer more complex main story, and it looks just like Just Cause 2, it will be a more success definitely.
