Transformers War for Cybertron Review

Transformers is back with a 3rd game for PC i believe. After Transformers after the first movie, which was nice and Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen after the second movie which was nice to but not much nicer, this one takes the cake. It is kind of bad they took out completely the human race, but they did stick to the original story. Even so, the human lines from transformer games suck anyway.

In this one, the things they transform into are like cars, tanks and planes from the future, I wonder why, if they didn't had any human contact - it's not like cars are universal - I mean you don't expect aliens (if they exist) to drive cars on their home planet. The game is entertaining, there is no time for relaxation, you shoot, you transform, and you shoot again. There are 10 chapters, each with several checkpoints. Two of them are the big bosses fight, one from Decepticon campaign the giant autobot Omega Supreme (hard to fight), and the other is the giant godzilla-like decepticon named Trypticon(easy to fight), a funny name actually. A lot of shooting and fighting, big small and medium robots, and the small bosses, and the usual main characters of the transformer's universe. What was funny in fact is that after they save Cybertron, they have to live because their planet is dying from dark energon, but actually it will repair itself after "millions of years". Stop there. You can't tell me that. If they are advanced robots activated by high tech intelligence they have to know how many millions of years, is two or three, or if they come back after 40 millions of years will it be repaired already? It is just one little planet made of metal and lava, it will get rusty after 2 years ;)).

SCORES

Graphics - 9 (Nvidia 3D Vision - good)

Gameplay - 8

Feeling - 8

Story - 8

Size - 1 dvd-dl - 8gb

TOTAL 8

Status: buy it, play it, have fun, playing both campaigns and then add it to your transformers collection. Good job with this one Activision. It was good, but please, oh please, bring a better story in the next one, more drama, more passion, more unexpected situations, not just shoot and kill.
