Dead Space 2 Review

Wow, I think they want to make every Dead Space game a work of art. This were the scariest and creepiest 8 hours of gaming played this year. Following on the story from Dead Space Isaac Clarke awakes in another horror chaos on the Sprawl. As we play the game through the levels Isaac meets some very violent creatures, mutants, weapons, Armour and suit upgrades as in the the first game. I like The continuity style, basically not knowing when the game is loading or when you go from one chapter to another. The whole game is like a movie - a scary movie that is. Nolan Stross is another crazy patient, that helps Isaac, but he goes really mad and he must be put to sleep. Ellie Langdord, a nice babe, who joins the mission - stop the Marker and survive - is left with one good eye after Stross tries to explain madly to Isaac how he can destroy the Marker. But even so, Ellie remains a nice looking gal, with a patch on, ooohhh, sexy space pirate. Franco helps Isaac escape straitjacket before turning into a necromorph. Daina turns out to be a Marker loving bitch - a Unitologist. Ellie escapes due to Isaac's remorse to save somebody, but in the end she comes back for him and saves him. Isaac is driven by visions of his "evil" dead wife, who can not let go just yet. After accepting letting go of Nicole, thing get to normal, until she turns on you at the marker, trying to kill you on the final boss battle. Finally the Marker is destroyed and they all live happily ever after, or so we thought because we here a transmission saying that other Marker sites will pick up the pieces. On the side, cool graphics, cool weapons, cool story, lots and lots of scary, terrifying moments. Brings me back memories of Doom 3.
