Bulletstorm Review

Nice Ea shooter. It's a little overwhelming at first, for my pc anyway, since this game does require some serious graphic cards. I think The Unreal Engine touched it's maximum potential with this EA game. On with the show. Play as Grayson Hunt, a leader of a rebel army group type trying to revenge innocent murders by following the story and try to kill General Sarrano, a f...ing bastard. At first your mates, Dr. Oliver and Julian die on you, so you are left with robotized Ishi, trying to survive this god forsaken planet. As you try to escape attacking enemies, you get to side with Trishka, a cool chick, who happens to work for the general, and turns out she will be the finest ally in the end, of course after Ishi. In order to survive you fight side by side with Ishi, Trishka and Sarrano. This game has beautiful graphics, wide landscapes, cool combat system - it remind me of Fallout 3 shooting system, only this time you have some electric hook attached to the hand as you can "hammer" to death a group of enemies from distance, you can grab and throw an enemy towards you shooting him in style or stuck him in some random environmental death trap, spikes, fire, etc. You can kick them when you're out of ammo, you can shoot them while they are floating in the air, anyhow you want. This game does not have any mercy on enemies. All enemies will suffer a cruel death by your actions. The sick thing about it is that you will actually have some fun in this Mad Max type of game. On the side, if you just listen to the dialogues and comments, you can get a god laugh while following the story - I mean who swears like that, those were some funny dirty talks. I observed that this guy Gray doesn't know when to quit. His friends are dead, he is crashing continuously and surviving with applause and no damage. His enemy survives, no problem (spoiler), and even his best friend, improved and ugly Ishi, tries to kill him, but survives. I mean this guy is like Bruce Willis in Die Hard.

SCORES

Graphics - 10 (Nvidia 3D Vision - 2 - some problems with 3d - maybe a better driver is required)

Gameplay - 9

Feeling - 8

Story - 8

Size - 1 dvd-dl - 7gb

TOTAL 9

Status: buy it, play it, have some pointless fun with the whip, finish the game, sell it or keep it, then wait for Bulletstorm 2, which looks promising given the fact how the game ends, leaving plenty of room for a nice followup.
