King's Speach 2011 Movie Review

King's Speech is an historic drama about a man, Colin Firth, who plays King George VI. He has a speech defect along with public fear. He gets help form a therapist who becomes his closest friend. In the end he succeeds keeping a public speech, when it is most needed, leading the country into war. In my opinion that should have been the speech he should have stutter, because being proud and happy about that particular speech is too selfish of him to consider it a success. All the same, this is not a memorable movie. Yes Colin makes a fabulous role in it, and it is a little annoying how hard he tries. Sometimes he is stuttering and looks normal, and sometimes he is stuttering and looks like a handicap person. So which one is it Colin? The movie tends to bore seeing that 90% of it follows the failure of an impotent king. Yes, yes, I guess he deserved the awards, but common, I've seen better acting. This was a Hollywood commercial drama.
