Channing Tatum "steps up" in a roman legionare. Dancing transforms in fighting, and Channing tries to fight like a mechanic robot. Maybe he is a little slow, but he is working on it. Oh yeah, and we let that slide because of his puppy dog eyes. It is not just another Gladiator, may though it may seem so, but I will tell you this, it has adventure, action, friendship, and a little quest. The heroes ties to the leadership, or to the Romans are not developed enough. His relationships with the others, other than Esca, are non-existing or non-developed. For a 1 time seeing it looks great, but not important. So as much as I did enjoy the fighting for some gold eagle roman symbol, it will not remain printed on my brain for long. Oh, and no love story here, sorry ladies..
