127 Hours 2010 Movie Review

Best James Franco Movie I've ever seen until now. This is most definitely a survival movie documentary. It reminds me of survival reality shows. This wild guy tries to survive a very complicated, yet simple accident, alone and in the wild. He is confronted with decisions and actions to take on, in order to survive. As he is trying to resist longer, he is caught between day dreams, fantasies, thoughts, and imagination. He is waiting for the rescue that never comes, and his only companion is his camera, who's battery runs out (the longest battery I've ever seen). As the last resort to escape this trap, he cuts of his hand and get's help being half dead. Inspired by a true story, this is a really amazing and touching story of a man to selfish to let anyone too close to him, with no girlfriend, and no notices of where is going, the lack of communication with his parents or friends, he finds himself in the situation when he really regrets the passive life he lived without letting anyone in. In this situation he will learn the hardest way that a man can learn, a lesson every man should learn, the need of help from others. Beautifully filmed, and great performance from James, this film will never bore you.
