Medal of Honor 2010 Review

2 words: awesome shooter. As you progress through the modern war missions, you impersonate some of the important characters of the game. Under the code name: Rabbit, or Adams, you fight side by side with your team mates: Mother, Vodoo etc. The gun fights are very real. Killing Taliban is no joke. Using tactical hi tech equipment to take out RPG's, bad guys with AK-47s and, cars with guns and big tanks, or even buildings. It was a very worthy experience - 5 hours of action: shooting, cover, stealth, stealth kill, some high quality cut-scenes, and always in co-op mode, fight in the desert, in villages, in caves, at the base of the mountain or on top of the mountain, the graphic looks very nice and very real. Hide behind a building or a wall, and a blast could take out that cover. Hind behind rocks, and before you know it, if they shoot hard enough, they break that rock to pieces to. The good thing is that grenades aren't what they are, I mean you can survive one grenade, and survive even 3 or 4 bullets one after the other, but more damage means you die. There is no save mode, just check points. Watch out for messages, because the game always gives you a helping hand. After five or six restarts I realized that "4" is for hellfire only, and I needed that to take out the mortar team, but they didn't tell me that in options->controls menu. You drive some ATV uphill and downhill, very good handling, and shoot from a helicopter as you like: missiles and gunfire. Watch out for the big explosions. There are like 2 or three of them, so close that you see the sky turn red or brown because the earth is up in the air, that is some awesome explosions that I didn't see in any other games untill now. For me this game was a 1TK, because I will not play it more than I had, and it was good while it lasted. I hope that killing talibans doesn't become a national sport for American people, because they have mothers too, but seeing to much games about discriminating and killing middle eastern will get old sooner than later. Oh, and almost forgot a spoiler: In the end Rabbit dies and marks the sacrifice that soldiers make for freedom. All the same, this game presents the hard situations that American soldiers get though these days, fighting against terrorists in their territory, so that everybody could live free. But is it really free?

SCORES

Graphics - 9+ (Nvidia 3D Vision - I don't know what to say, either I needed some new drivers, either the game wasn't optimized for 3DVISION, the images were doubled by a disturbing shadow)

Gameplay - 9

Feeling - 9

Story - 8

Size - 1 dvd-dl - 7gb

TOTAL 8+

Status: borrow it or buy it, play it, shoot, then lend it or add it to the MOHA collection. Then wait as usual for the next MOHA, because as usual the MOHA franchise never dies and this game always reborns, like NFS.
